How to Delete Your Account

You can request account deletion using either of the following methods:

From the Chopable App:

1. Open the Chopable application.
2. Log in to your account.
3. Go to Profile / Account Settings.
4. Select Delete Account.
5. Confirm your account deletion request.

From Our Website:

If you are unable to access the application, you can request account deletion through our website or by contacting the Chopable support team.

You may be required to provide your registered mobile number to verify your account before the deletion request is processed.

30-Day Account Deletion Period

Once an account deletion request is submitted, the account will first be placed in a soft-deleted/deactivated status for 30 days.

During this 30-day period:

• The account will remain inactive.
• The user will not be able to normally use the account or its services.
• The account and associated data will remain stored temporarily for recovery, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legitimate operational purposes.
• Where supported, the user may contact Chopable support during this period to request account restoration.

After completion of the 30-day period, the account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted or anonymized, except for information that Chopable is legally or operationally required to retain.

Data That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained even after permanent account deletion where required for:

• Completed orders and transaction history

Such information will only be retained for the period necessary to meet applicable legal, regulatory, security, or legitimate business requirements.

After the 30-day deletion period has expired and permanent deletion has been completed, the account may not be recoverable.
